Update: 7/13/22

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We are glad that you are joining us, as we embark on an exciting year of teaching and learning at Pueblo High School. To the Class of 2023, I look forward to your leadership and welcome you as a critical stakeholder for this upcoming school year. To the Class of 2026, welcome to Pueblo; this is crucial moment in your life that will pave the way for your future.

Although COVID 19 is a reality we must continue to navigate, we will continue to follow all mitigation measures set by Tucson Unified School District but improve our communication with families who have chosen Pueblo. This year we will renew our commitment to excellence in all that we do, as we seek to provide high quality instruction daily with the expectation that all students can learn and succeed. We will continue to provide students with opportunities to address academic deficiencies, to strengthen their literacy skills, to make up missing credit, to be college or work force prepared, and to have the opportunity to participate in advanced academic classes. We will implement initiatives to bolster teaching and learning, and we will foster a collaborative, supportive and loving climate. A major initiative for this year is to align ourselves summatively, while valuing and protecting personal creativity. We look forward to partnering with you in this effort which will positively impact student performance in every content area, and in their overall academic growth and development.

I am thrilled about what this new school year has to offer and look forward to working collectively to ensure that our students are provided with the best educational experience possible to be critical thinkers, responsible citizens, and prepared to be successful in their endeavors after high school. Pueblo High School will commit to excellence and serve as model institution that values a positive climate and culture.

I look forward to new and continued relationships with each of you throughout this year. It is going to be an amazing year.

Sincerely,
Frank “Sammy” Rosthenhausler
